Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of twice yearly physical examinations. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help prevent serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

• Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

• Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.

• Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

• Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.

• Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

• Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

• Pharmacy & Online Pharmacy:  We maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos and some heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet.  Our online pharmacy provides the convenience of at home ordering and shipping with a larger selection of inventory items and preventatives for your pet.

• Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and oral surgery. 

• Individualized Parasite Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas, ticks, and internal parasites in and on your pet, in your home, and in your yard.

• Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance, allergies, and performance.

• Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

• Boarding:  We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff in a climate controlled enviroment. Pets may be admitted and discharged during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.

APPOINTMENTS
 
Appointments are for your convenience. If we know when you plan to visit the clinic, we can schedule our surgery and other appointments accordingly to minimize your waiting time before we see your pet. Those with appointments who arrive on time will be given preference to those without appointments. However, patients do not become ill on schedule, hospital work may take longer than anticipated and emergencies do occur .If there is a short wait for your appointment, please understand that we have the utmost respect for your time and regret any delay. We will, at all times, do our best to adhere to the appointment schedule.

If you cannot keep an appointment, please provide reasonable notice. Otherwise, it may deprive an ill patient of an available appointment.

We take appointments from 9:00am until 11:30am and from 2:00pm until 4:30pm most weekdays. Saturday appointments are also available from 9:00am until 1:00pm.

Surgery times are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8am-12noon.
